Rod Burris, CPA, CGMA, has over 25 years of senior management experience handling all financial, accounting, tax, administrative back office, and business operations for multiple entities. Rod has served in both CFO and Controller roles across industries that include multiple entity emergency physician and radiology medical groups to $100 million in revenues. Rod has significant expertise in the following industries:

• Healthcare

• Professional services

• Manufacturing

• Construction

• Distribution

His background ranges from finance, cost accounting, and tax to human resources and operations, public accounting, and internal financial/operational auditor for companies ranging $10 million to multi-billion in revenues. Rod has developed policies, procedures and internal controls for startup companies to turning around newly acquired organizations.  Highlights include:

• Over 25 years of senior management experience in CFO/Controller roles

• Rebuilding of accounting and finance departments, including upgrade of accounting systems

• Managing operations, including back office administrative functions of policies, procedures, processes, human resources legal, leases and contracts administration

• Projections, forecasts, cash management, tax planning, GAAP financials

• Reorganizations and restructuring, including partner additions, buyouts

• M&A due diligence

Rod has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and is a licensed CPA in California. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs.
